(I'm former fine arts photographer, staffer at Cleveland Museum of Art, and now medium is workshopping) What I love about your idea is the power contained in #1: hang around people who agree. Sure, difference is interesting, even nourishing some times. And moving forward in *defiance* of your opposition is much of an artist's life, in my experience. But confidence and energy is such a powerful boost to sustain creativity and innovation. Am I ever glad to have found you, thanks to the link from Seth Godin.
